5 Steps to Reframe Subconscious Beliefs

Part 3


In part 3 of this series of blogs, I'm helping you reframe those subconscious limiting beliefs that are affecting your health, wealth, happiness and success.

The 'I am not enough' Belief

I almost think it's like an epidemic, the ‘I am not enough’ epidemic, that's really spreading throughout the world in people's doubts, fears, limits, comparisonitis, the wanting to hide if you spend a lot of time online and you're an introvert.  Being online is a perfect playtime for us, but to know that that's coming from a healthy space as an introvert or whether it's coming from a space of ‘I fear people judging me for who I am and what I'm like and my personality is a very different headspace.  

Discerning which ones feel great for you because you're in your power or which ones you're giving your power away in terms of the life and the reality that you have will bring great clarity.  If it's not what you want, chances are there's something you can change subconsciously to reframe that, and that's what we're going to do.

So I'm going to move on to step one of reframing your subconscious beliefs. 

Identify your challenges

Step one is all about first of all identifying what's not where you want it to be in your life, in your health, in your wealth, in your happiness, your relationships, whatever that might be.

Feel free to share what's not quite where you want it to be in your life right now.  

I want you to look at and identify what is not making you completely happy, completely fulfilled, completely as healthy as you want to be in your life, in your health and or your business.

You can work on a few things following these steps if you want to, but I do recommend doing this with one challenges you have at a time at first.

What this is going to do is really identify the symptom, because when there's a symptom that isn't quite what you want it to be in your reality, there's often a deeper root cause and belief behind that, which we can't get to because we're not fully conscious of what's not right in our lives, what's not aligned, what's not how we want it to be. That leads us to step two.

Highlight why you don't have the very thing you desire 

Step two is about highlighting why you don't have that thing your desire already.

This is a really interesting area-it can trigger a lot of emotions and responses, especially through the nervous system as well as the subconscious mind and the emotional energy body when you start to do this.

If you've got the symptom that you have in your reality that isn't how you want it to be right now (from step one), what I ask my clients, and I'm going to ask you this now, is if I had a magic wand and I'm going to tap that magic wand and you're going to be able to go forwards and have that thing that you want that's currently not quite right in your reality, now we're going to flip it so it's right.

As I wave my magic wand, you're going to know exactly what you need to do, how you need to be, who you need to be to be able to have that thing. What this does is metaphorically gives you a nudge on the shoulder and say, “Right, go get it. Go get it. Go get what you want.” 

What then happens then is I get bombarded with a huge amount of, “But I can't because… I can't do that because… That won't work because... What if I fail? What if I succeed?”


That's when you start to identify those beliefs that are preventing you from having what you want! 

So when we start to really look at why you don't have that already, you can really then start to see where it might be, “I don't have enough time. I don't have enough energy. I don't have enough confidence. I don't believe in myself enough.”

That's where we suddenly start to click into the ‘I'm not enough’ belief.

As soon as you can start to recognize where that comes from and hear that self-talk that's coming from you and your subconscious mind when you are faced with the reality of exactly what you want, then that's when you start to feel the heels come in and say, “But what if... What if this? What if that? What if this doesn't work? What if that does work? What if I don't know enough?" 

All of those things start to come into the mix. 

Step 2 is one of the most powerful steps you can take because you're just starting to remove those layers.

So, to summarise so far, we have the symptoms on the surface of your reality that you want to change and you are clear on what you want as opposed to what you don't want.  Now,  if you are working through this as you read, there will be some self-talk and beliefs that are starting to show up for you and emerge to be looked at and to be seen as soon as you start to become aware of going that little bit deeper.
